You never saw my love, but,
will you ever notice me?
We're on the same team
and still you don't see

My feelings for you
are stronger than anything
My love for you;
A flower that keeps on growing
--
When we first met
We didn't know each other
we were just strangers
who weren't close to one another
--
I never would have thought
I'd develop feelings for you
But as the years past
I wished you'd love me too
--
I don't remember when
this attraction began to start
But what I do know
is from you I never want to part
--
I keep these feelings inside of me;
a secret from you I keep
The more I fall for you
the lies just get more deep
--
You just think of me as a teammate
a sparring partner and nothing more;
I remember the day you told me this,
it was the day my heart tore
--
You don't realize how much you hurt me
when you spoke those hurtful words.
That day you stabbed me in the heart
with your words being the sword.

Though this pain in my heart,
so unbearable I could die
but when I look into your eyes
all the pain starts to fly
--
I still don't understand
how I could still be in love with you
when you hurt me this much
and tore my heart in two
--
I should despise you,
hate you for all that you've done
yet, for that special place in my heart,
you are still the only one.
