Edward as he watches bella marry someone other than him

Oneshot- my first ever fanfic so be nice :)
A one shot through Edwards eyes.
Just one last time, that's all I ask for, one last time to see her, watch her, talk to her.
1o years since I last laid eyes on her beautiful face, 10 years since I last heard her beautiful laugh, 10
years since I last held the love of my life in my arms.
"Bella" I whisper driving towards her house. Alice told me what today was; had the vision of this day
playing in her head for weeks before she let it slip. Nothing can stop me seeing Bella today.
The bells rang out from the town square, heart racing I speed up in my new convertible, "don't let it
have happened" I pleaded silently "Not before I've had the chance to say my final farewell".
Jumping out of the car I run towards the square, laughing fills my ears, music playing in the
background, yet this all means nothing to me the only thing I want to see is her.
Bella.
"My Bella" the words escape before I can stop them, yet it's too noisy for anyone to hear, too much
laughter, dancing, happiness.
Turning slowly I spot her finally, my head feels light, my breath comes faster, and she's there my Bella.
No I mouth silently turning away from the scene in front of me she no longer is MY Bella. She
belongs to another, one who loves her just as much as I do, yet he can show her without fear of
hurting her, love her the way she deserves to be loved. Bella, looking beautiful in a white dress, the
sort of dress I always imagined her wearing on our wedding day, yet her she was wearing it for
someone else, looking the happiest I've ever seen her look.
Standing on her tiptoes she reaches up to the man beside her, her husband and plants a kiss on his
lips, pure love and happiness fills both their faces. It was time for me to leave, turning slowly I
walk away turning only once to whisper on the wind "Jacob Black if you ever hurt her, I'll hunt
you down and kill you. She's precious and special, thank you for loving her" From the corner
of my eye I see a small, yet unmissable nod of the head from Jacob, he'd heard, he knew, he
would.
It was over, Bella was no longer mine, letting the last bit of her empty out of my heart in our special
place, the meadow. Sun glittering off me, I started at the sky remembering the times we'd
shared the love we had, the pain I caused. Turning from the meadow I began to run, faster
than I ever had, faster and faster leaving Bella behind. She was happy and now I knew for
sure I was happy.
"Goodbye love" I whispered one more time before leaving forks and Bella behind forever.
