Pairing: Eventual Gray/Natsu

"We should totally drive across the country!"

Gray blinks twice. "... What? Are you serious?" He's so shocked, he can't even use one of his nicknames for the pyromaniac(?) in front of him. After all, it's not everyday when one has one's friend/enemy go up to them and say that they want to drive across the country, right?

Lucy, sitting next to Gray, nods and wipes her mouth from spitting out her diet Pepsi. "Gray's right, Natsu. None of us can drive, remember? And also, I don't think I can handle being in the same car for over an hour with you and Gray. You two fight all the time!" She goes off on a long rant about why the group of four shouldn't do it.

Erza however, sitting across from Gray, nods and looks as if she were deep in thought. "...Hm... Sounds interesting. It could be a fun thing to do, after all, we're leaving for different colleges soon." She has a small smile on her face at the thought of driving across the country with her childhood friends and new friend.

Natsu nods rapidly, "I know right? It seems lots of fun! And don't worry Lucy, I'll find someone who'll drive us!" He has a devious grin on his face. "It'll be a good way to end off high school, and a good start towards college! And, even Gray can come!" Before anyone can make a remark about his last sentence, he dashes off.

"What do you mean about that, you flaming shit head!" Gray yells and runs after the pink-haired male. Inwardly, he's slightly excited. Who wouldn't be when they were going to drive across the country with their beloved friends? Yes, even Natsu is one of his beloved friends, though he wouldn't admit it.

Lucy sighs. "...He tells me not to worry, but I can't help being worried!" She turns to the red-haired female across from her. "... Hey, Erza... Are we really gonna do this?" A frown is on her face.

Erza chuckles and smiles. "When Natsu wants to do something, then he'll do it. You should be used to it by now. Hopefully he won't do something stupid." Erza knocks on the wooden table that they're sitting at. "Anyways, we should just finish our lunch."

Lucy sighs. "...Alright."

'I really hope that Natsu doesn't do anything stupid...'
