Letting Go -Avatar Monologue – Eytukan; during the scene where home tree is ambushed.
As my eyes begin to close I hear the screams. Deep, gut retching screams from both my people and the trees. The creams of the ones that had lived before us, the ones that are dyeing and those who haven't had a chance to live. Looking down, I see a red substance dripping, ossing, from my stomach. Even though I feel no pain, I know that this must me my end, my down fall. It shall be my duty to the people to serve in my afterlife with Ewya.
She is calling to me as I begin to hear a familiar noise. I voice of my daughter, Neytiri. 'She really does love him, doesn't she' I begin to think as she calls out to me, shacking my old body back and forth. She is to be a spiritual leader, she is to talk to the people with pride, grace and intellect, she is destined for great things. The Omaticya trust her with their lives.
Muttering a few words to her, I finally realise that my time has come, it's time for me to join my people the recite within Ewya.
"Take my bow daughter." I say, handing her my bow, crafted from our own home tree. I see tears the tears in her eyes as my own begin to blacken. With of my mate, Mo'at, in my head. I so begin to see many different lights appear before my eyes, this is her... Ewya.
Letting go of my body, once bound to my home land, I start to realise all that I new. All the things that Ewya can offer me, and all the other Omaticya people, once we have served our purpose. ' They will be fine, Jake Sully shall help them my people. He shall fly the Toruk and he shall save the people' I was thinking hoping that my wish may come true, that the people may once again live in peace with the land, without the 'skypeople'' disrupting that peace.
Goodbye my people, I shall see you, in Ewya, my people...
