Chapter I

Inuyasha and his group were walking through the forest, Kagome beside Sango, Miroku beside them, Shippo on a transformed Kirara who was trailing shortly behind Sango, and Inuyasha at the head.
"Psst!" Sango whispered to her friend, immediately getting her attention.
"Huh?" Kagome asked, looking towards Sango.
"I was just wondering...do you think Inuyasha's kawaii?"
Kagome's face turned cherry-blossom pink. "NO!"
Sango giggled. "Sure............"
"I DON'T!"
"Uh huh...whatever." Sango said, slowering her pace to ride uptop Kirara.
Kagome glared at her friend, now ontop of the cat demon, when she realized, 'OMG! What if..oh man! I hope Inuyasha heard nothing of that!' As though he could feel her watchful eyes, he turned around and glared at her, causing her to blush harder than before.
"What is it Inuyasha?" asked Miroku.
"Feh. Nothing you need to now lech!"
Miroku ignored that comment knowing that was only Inuyasha's way of acting- all of the time.
They walked in silence until Kagome stopped in mid-step.
"Kagome, is there something wrong?" Sango asked, looking at her friend confusedly.
"Are you alright Kagome?!" asked Shippo, jumping down from Kirara.
"I ..sense shards." she said, closing her eyes to figure out which direction they were coming from.
"How many?" Inuyasha asked, already growing impatient.
. ".......two...wait, make that three shards." she said, opening her eyes, "And they are coming from that direction, but they're off quite a distance." she said, pointing to the northeastern border of the woods.
"Fine! Let's go." Inuyasha said, snatching Kagome and throwing her over his shoulder.
. "IETE!"
"Shut up wench!" he yelled, jumping from tree to tree, until he sensed the demon, or demons.
