Book 4: Chaos
Chapter 1: Dimensional Shift
Five months have passed following the fall of the Chimera Legion. The four kingdoms were at peace with no conflict from within or from the outside. Dust and Marina had joined together uniting the Earth Kingdom and Water Nation together.
Blaze was visiting Northern Island with Tangle to meet up with Marine for the first time in weeks. "You think that Marine will be here?"
"I don't see why not. This place has been her home for years."
The two walks up to the dock seek the raccoon on the edge with her feet in the water.
Tangle walks up and sits down beside her. "Hey, Marine."
Marine looks over at her. "Tangle? Wow. I haven't see you for a while." She stands up as she looks to Blaze. "Blaze! It's good to see you too."
Blaze smiles. "How have things been?"
"It's actually a good thing you two arrived."
Tangle tilts her head. "Why's that?"
"I've been having some run-ins with some weird guy with a glowing stone glove and a duckbill. Any of you know who that may be?"
"It can't be."
Blaze looks at Marine. "Where was the last time you saw him?"
Marine then takes the queens over to where this mysterious man would appear. Once there, they noticed what looked like a portal.
"Is he in there?"
"Actually, that's the first time I've seen that. Why's it here?"
Tangle then hears rustling in the bushes and reaches her tail inside grabbing something. "Gotcha!" She yanks on her tail pulling out a familiar platypus.
"There you are!"
"Dr. Starline!"
The platypus stood himself up fixing his glasses brushing himself off. "If it isn't the blue blur's cat and lemur buddies. Been a while since I've seen you two."
Blaze grabs him. "What are you doing here?"
"Well for one I'm testing interdimensional travel, and second I'm gathering supplies for my next project." He wraps out of her grip with his gem.
Marine gasps a bit. "Where'd he go!?"
Starline lands on top of the raccoon pushing his heel into the back of her head. "I may not have power like your friends, but I do have the wits to outsmart you."
Tangle runs up grabbing him quickly. "Don't think I'll let you get away with this!" She runs into the portal with him.
"Tangle!" Blaze follows her. "Marine, stay here. We'll be back." She jumps through the portal as well.
Marine stood up looking at the portal. "This could be very bad."
On the other side, Blaze lands in what appeared to be a small town. "Where am I?"
Tangle walks up to her. "I lost him."
"Nevermind that for now, Tangle. Does any of this ring a bell?"
Before receiving an answer, someone swooped down behind them. The two of them turn and look at the figure behind them.
"Whoever you are, show yourself. We don't mean any harm."
The figure slowly steps out of the shadows removing the mask revealing herself to be Whisper. "Tangle?"
The lemur smiles at her old friend. "Whisper!" She hugs her.
Whisper slowly embraced the lemur as she looks at them. "Been a while…"
"It's good to see you again, Whisper. I guess this confirms where we are."
Tangle looks at Blaze.
"We're in the Chaos Dimension."
