What's up anyone who bothered to read this! This is a story I came with when I was reading the Mark of Athena after watching Wolverine and the X-men. I thought hey what if the mist dissapeared? So I decided to write it. To be honest I'm not making any promises about how often I'm going to update this. I have a tendency to forget I wrote something. But as soon as I write the next part it'll go up. So follow if you want to know what happens.
P.S. this is one of my first fanfics so don't judge too harshly.
Prologue
As humans we fear what we do not understand. This fear is ripped out of us and brings out the darkness in a person's soul. So then, what would happen when humans are suddenly presented with the fact that the gods and monsters of a long forgotten age were still alive and well. That they, in fact, were still watching over them, fighting in the streets, causing wars and natural disasters. But most of all that they were still siring children. The fact that people who were not entirely human could be going to school with their own children terrified the human race. Spurred on by their own fear, people became more aggressive and lashed out, usually in a dangerous way. In the time of the ancient Greeks when the gods were still worshipped and believed in, this wasn't much of a problem. But as society evolved and deities changed the need for secrecy arose. So the Mist was created. Nowadays, the gods have long been forgotten and the stories by which they were once revered have faded into myth and legend. For years they went unnoticed, hidden from the human race, until the Mist disappeared, leaving them exposed. Now the people of the world of myths are hunted, exiled from society and regarded as monsters. Not even Camp Half- Blood or Camp Jupiter, long regarded as safe havens, can protect them.
