It was normal day of practice for Team Otori...well...almost.
Tsukigami and Tengenji were bickering like usual, Kuga was silently watching, and Nayuki was being a mother hen, trying to break those two up. Hoshitani...was getting increasingly angry for some reason.
"Guys," Hoshitani says, trying to get their attention. They ignore him. He tries again, only louder, "Oi, minna-san!" They still ignore him as Tsukigami's and Tengenji's bickering got even louder and worse. Getting even angrier, Hoshitani yells, "Oi! Guys! Don't ignore me!" They still continue bickering, not hearing him.
Then, Hoshitani took drastic measures. He hit them all on the head (even Nayuki and Kuga). "Ow! What?" They cry as they look at Hoshitani, slight bumps on their heads. He glares and smiles at them, "Listen to me when I'm talking. I'm the leader here. Don't. Ignore. Me. Ne?" They all cower in fear a bit, still a bit shocked that Hoshitani could get this mad. Kuga just nods in understanding, Nayuki's too scared to move, but Tsukigami and Tengenji quickly get over it though.
"You're not the boss of us, you boor." "What are you gonna do about it?" Hoshitani just smiles, then hit them both on the head, even harder this time, leaving sizable bumps on their heads, some smoke coming out of nowhere.
That was when Otori came in to check on them. He sees Nayuki frozen stiff, Kuga being his usual self, Tsukigami and Tengenji on the ground, holding their heads, and... Hoshitani smiling and glaring at them. Blinking, he asks, "What's going on?" Kuga answers, "Hoshitani's mad that we ignored him today."
Nodding in understanding, Otori goes over to Hoshitani and flicks his forehead. Hoshitani whines, putting a hand to his forehead, then pouts, "What was that for?" Otori smiles, "You're not angry anymore, are you?" Hoshitani blinks, "They still ignored me though~." Tsukigami and Tengenji both sigh, then they both do a dogeza, "We're sorry!" Hoshitani nods, accepting the apology, "At least listen to me from now on, ne?" They both nod. "Alright, boys. Now that that's settled, back to practice!" "Hai!"
Practice continued as usual. 'I still can't believe the boor got that mad over being ignored,' Tengenji glares. 'I won't ignore him ever again,' Tsukigami sighs. 'Hoshitani-kun's scary when he's mad,' Nayuki nervously smiles. 'I won't ever ignore him,' Kuga watches silently still.'They ignored me. I don't like being ignored. It reminds of a past I'd rather forget,' Hoshitani thinks as he gets back to practice.
When practice was over, they prepare to go back to the dorms. However, Otori says one last thing while smiling, "If you boys thought Hoshitani was bad when angry, then I'm probably worse." He leaves them with that, the boys thinking, 'I don't want to find out what Otori-senpai's like when angry!' They all leave quickly, silently agreeing to never mention this incident ever again.
However, Hoshitani texts Otori in bed, 'Can we team up sometime?' *Bing!* 'I'd love to.' Smiling, he goes to sleep, thinking 'They won't know what hit'em.'
