This is just a random story I thought of a couple of nights ago. I was thinking how it is kinda annoying when people shorten names that are short anyway and so this little ficcy was born. :)

DISCLAIMER: Regrettably, I don't own Torchwood and Russell T Davies does. If I did, I'd lock the boys in my room to play with whenever I want. ;)

'Alright, Hot stuff!'

Ianto groaned inwardly. As if he didn't have enough to deal with already; a mountain of cataloguing down in the Archives interrupted by a seemingly urgent call back up to the main Hub, which turned out to be Jack's desperation to check out his backside – something Ianto only really appreciated outside of office hours. His lover was arse-sick. Typical. And, to make matters worse, Jack was trying to nickname him again.

'No, Jack.'

'Sweetcheeks?'

'It's two syllables, Jack, not that hard.'

'Darling Dearest?'

'IAN-TO!'

'Sex On Legs?'

'Really?'

'PocketRocket?'

'No.'

'EyeCandy?'

A sharp intake of breath. A rather prolonged but well deserved glower.

'Don't even go there, Jack.'

Jack paused for a beat. He knew what that tone meant; tread carefully Harkness. Ianto was not above withholding sex if necessary, and the stirring within his groin told Jack that that was a situation of which he could very much do without right now, especially after last time. Now, that was a really painful couple of weeks. Never again did Jack want to be sexually frustrated. Never, ever, again.

His apology came in the form of a passionate kiss. Tosh was oggling at them through his office window while Owen pulled disgusted faces, but Jack didn't care because Ianto was all his, for now. Ianto's forceful response told him he was very much forgiven for the faux pas, along with the impression that he was in for a lot more excitement when the others went home. If Jack behaved.

'A little taster for tonight.' Ianto whispered in his ear before making to leave Jack's office. Jack stared intently at Ianto's retreating form for a while before calling after him.

'Baby?'

Ianto paused, suppressing the small smile that was creeping into the corners of his mouth as he turned to face a smugly grinning Jack Harkness. He had definitely set himself up for this one.

'Jack,' Jack tilted his head in assumed interest. 'Don't call me baby.' Ianto deadpanned before heading back to work.
