So, this was something I wrote and posted on my DA a while back for a 100 Themes thing, the theme being 'complicated'. However, I figured that it'd make sense as a one-shot, since in this case it basically is. It's just an explanation of my OC through the eyes of how Brendan feels for her (though...based off an RP, I have a feeling based off other stories with Brendan he might be similar. I dunno). Either way...Please be polite. This is simply a little one-shot I thought was cute after writing it. :3

Also...I do not own Pokemon. I only own Hiruka...and her pathetic excuse of a sense of direction xP

When it came to Hiruka, mostly everyone thought she was the simplest person in the world. The green-haired girl was about as predictable to most people as how long milk will be if you can read the expiration date. To most, she was a goofy, hyper and childish girl who could be very impulsive, especially when it came to her friends or the Pokemon around her. If someone needed to find her and she wasn't traveling but also wasn't at home, they knew easily where to look: the Ilex Forest. She was always either walking around there or just climbing and sitting in the trees. To most, she was just a dense kid having trouble growing up. However, there were a couple people who saw the other side of her- one being the closest person to her since the day they'd met during one of her errands.

To Brendan, Hiruka was more than a goofy and impulsive girl. Heck, it was part of what attracted him to her most likely- they were pretty much identical with that. He couldn't help but smile when she'd get flustered, either from getting lost or when he'd compliment her cooking. He loved how compassionate she was about what she believed in. Hiruka was far more than met the eye to most people, and that was part of what he loved about her.

There was only one topic with Hiruka that she was particularly predictable. If Brendan was nearby, she wouldn't hesitate to rush to his side. After a battle, she was always the first one to give him a standing ovation for a job well done, as well as likely a hug soon after. Anyone could have told at the very beginning just how strong her love for Brendan was, aside for maybe Brendan himself. Heck, even she was clueless enough to need help understanding. However, whenever the two of them were together, no enemy seemed unbeatable. They were each other's strength. Their love was the only actually predictable thing with them. Everything else, even if a common scenario, was far from simple.
