Chapter One : It All Starts Here And Ends with There
With nothing to lose, Anna and Yoh took the exam together for another part of life: College.
"Yoh, you did well, did you?" Anna asked. She was walking with Yoh on the gigantic halls.
"I dunno. Guess we'll know sooner or later." Yoh answered. He shrugged and smiled at Anna.
Coolidge University was a school for shamans. It was located underground and was heavily guarded. The only known entrance was through the caves on a random desert that changes every week. It was strict with their education, once you flunk a test, you will never get in again. It was a one-time deal for Yoh. He knew the risks that he was taking.
It was raining hard when they were leaving. Anna and Yoh were optimistic to finish college together. They wanted a future together; they discussed it last night on the roof while gazing at the stars.
"Yoh, just look at the stars, the sky is as clear as the shade of dark blue." Anna said. She was using a white robe and was letting her hair fall down.
"Anna, what's the matter?" Yoh asked. He knew that something was up. Anna wouldn't normally come up here and talk about the stars. It was awkward.
"I'm thinking about college, I mean, if we'll go together. There may be challenges between us." Anna said.
"Yeah, I know, but so? There's no problem if we have arguments now and then. It's what we always do. I'm getting tired of it. Just so you know." Yoh said and stood up.
"But-" Anna began.
"We'll have exams tomorrow. I know I'll go miles with you. Don't go believing that we'll break up." Yoh said he looked at her and began going down stairs.
Anna sat at the roof all by herself. She was getting stomachaches now and then. She was trying to tell Yoh what she thinks is happening to her. She was on the verge of crying when she thought about Ren.
Ren was alone in his room. He was sleeping at the Flam Inn. He was enrolled at another college. He decided to stop being a shaman. His family, when he told them cast him out of the mansion. He was starting to live a life with human normalities. He kept secrets with Anna. They knew that when they tell Yoh about this, he'll get angry and it might cause major problems. After all, Anna was pregnant with his child.
