The thoughts of Andromeda surrounding the new.
Andromeda looked down at the tiny bundle which lay in her arms. A tuft of turquoise hair flashed from beneath the blankets. A gurgled growl was emitted as he snuggled further into the warmth. Teddy was beautiful. He was unaware of the world around him; she was in awe of his innocence. He was still untouched by the cruelty of reality. Naïve of the evil that was now gone; the evil that has reigned for so long; the evil that had caused herself so much pain. Bella, Cissy, Regulus, Sirius, Ted, Remus and now Dora. Over a score of years ago, she had left her family, toujours pur had become ne plus toujours pur. Defiant, she had stood on the side of good. What was left for her now? Everything she has fought for was gone; everything but one.
Teddy shifted slightly seeking for more comfort within the safety of her hold. From his appearance you could easily see, that he had taken after his mother; his metamorphous abilities were apparent. The turquoise had melted into a deep aqua-marine. It clashed in opposition to the bubblegum pink which she was so used to seeing. A soft sob escaped her. Her baby was no more. Her Dora was gone; yet, she was still here. The same cheeky grin was perfectly placed upon Teddy's lips. One lone, stray tear ran down Andromeda's own pallid cheek. How was life fair? How? She would be the only family her grandson would ever know.
