Red Tears
Her blood red tears,
Fall slowly, painfully, down her face,
Every tear that falls,
Causes another dagger to drive through her heart,
Her soul withering in pain,
Slowly she pulls out the steel tipped rose,
Lodged in her arm,
A small whimper escapes her mouth,
But not from pain,
No,
From grief and sadness,
Knowing nothing will ever be right,
Everyone she loved,
Is dead,
There was nothing she could do to stop it,
Yet she blames herself,
Her blood and tears,
Mixing together in a sorrow filled pool on the floor,
Grief overwhelming her,
Memories flooding her,
Unable to take it anymore,
She disappears.
