AN: Just a heads up that Human names are made. Ladonia's name will be Alexander. Sorry if I made him too OOC but really Ladonia is the only character that I can feel a connection with and he needs to be written about more. Also a small note that in the character notes of Ladonia it was stated that he contstantly tries to make Sweden see him more than a child (?)

review please and thank you so much!

A small snicker escaped from the child's mouth, today was the day. For months he was planning for this day. Today was the day that he was going to up-show Peter and show how much he has grown since he gained independence from Berwald. Looking down on his paper on the train, it took him two years just to make the picture of the burly Swede so he better appreciate all of his hard work. He smirked feeling some sense of pride from drawing such a realistic image of the elder nation. Blue eyes snapping upwards he over heard that his stop was coming up next, Stockholm. His body was filled with the excitement of wondering what Berwald was going to say, not much he figured because he knew that he would be too shocked to say anything.

Getting off of the train he began his journey onto the familiar streets of Stockholm. Alexander made his ways through the busy street clutching the picture to his chest. Looking up to the other adults he noticed some faces of concern for him. Shaking it off he knew it would seem awkward for humans to see a small child like him walking around in the big city but he was no child. Walking through a rather large group he recognized a joyous laugh that cut through the various sounds that surrounded him. Smiling he moved quickly through the streets catching a glimpse of two blonde heads that were extremely close to that of Tino and Berwald.

That was when his stomach dropped. His whole internal being dipped into sadness. There he was. There they were. All of them so happy and carefree. His blue eyes fell onto the small blonde boy who was laughing and chatting away with Tino as Berwald watched them so tenderly. Never in his life had he seen Berwald act like that, he's always seen the Swede either blank-faced or glaring. Not looking like a love stricken fool. Alexander looked down at the piece of paper that he drew; it didn't have any sense of pride left in it. Looking back up he felt a wave of jealousy wave through him like never before. Not knowing what to do he crumpled up the piece of paper throwing it onto the wet cobbled ground.

Scoffing Alexander turned around and ran hastily back to the one place where he knew he would be acknowledged. Ladonia.
