One night in the arena, Peeta looked at Katniss. "Hey, if I die, would you help another tribute?"
She looked at him suapsiciously. "I don't know. It would depend on wh I guess, I mean, I wish Rue were still alive."
"What if you and Cato were the last two tributes? Would you...be with him."
Katniss began envenoming her arrows with rattlesnake poison. "I'd repsect him for surviving, but I would NOT be with him. Why are you asking this?"
Peeta looked away. "Cato told me he loves you." Katniss stared wordlessly at him. "He said he'd be willing to kill anyone to be with you, even me."
"If he killed you, I'd kill him."
