Set after Shane's Karma Parts 1 & 2
Tori walked into Ninja Ops after a long day surfing. As soon as stepped into the room, she stopped. No one was here. She knew that Dustin and Shane were at Storm Chargers. Blake and Hunter were probably at the track, but where was Cam. Sensei wasn't here, neither was Cyber Cam. Just to make sure, she called out,
"Hello is anyone here?" Getting no response she sat down on the ground. Looking around she saw a single box sitting on the table. Upon further inspection, she found that it was a present. For her.
The card read "Happy Birthday Tor! I know it's a bit late, hope you enjoy it. Don't open it until everyone arrives." That was it, no signature, no nothing. No way to tell who it was from. Tori knew who she wanted it to be from. Blake. Ever since the first day Tori met Blake, she had liked him. Even during the whole 'evil' stage. Now he and his brother were on her side, but still nothing.
She thought he liked her. They had traded flirtatious smiles and secret glances. Not once had he asked her out. There may have been attempts, and she would give encouraging smiles, hoping that she could keep the 'Yes' in until he finished talking. Then something would happen. Usually it was Lothor sending down some random monster to try to destroy them. Or it was one of the guys, needing to see one of us. Maybe one day, it will happen.
Just then all five guys walked into Ninja Ops. Tori jumped out, knocked out of her thoughts.
"Oh good, Tori you're here, and you got our present." Shane said.
"Yeah, I've been waiting here. Who is this from?" Tori asked indicating the present. Our present? That means it's from more than one person. Not just Blake.
"Me, Hunter, Cam, and Shane." Dustin told her. "It was Shane's idea to get you this after we told him what happened on the beach, but we three were the ones that went shopping for it."
"You guys went shopping?" Tori asked in disbelief. Wait, so Blake had nothing to do with this gift?
"I was pretty horrible, going in a girl's store. We met some pretty cute girls, though." Hunter informed her. Tori just rolled her eyes.
"Well are you going to open it?" Cam asked. She looked at them suspiciously. They seemed like they were trying to hold in their laughter. She looked at Blake who just shrugged. So she did what she was told. She opened her gift. And immediately blushed. She looked at Blake again and saw he was blushing too.
"We thought you might want this after what happened to your old one." Shane managed to get out between laughs.
"Gee, thanks guys." Tori replied sarcastically.
"So what do you think?" She turned and asked Blake.
"I think the colors look good on you and you should wear it often."
And she would, because she also liked the colors. She loved her new gift. Her new bikini. Her new white bikini that was covered in blue and navy hearts.
