chapter 1:Two day's till Christmas
Authors note: OK I'm board and I came up with a brand new idea and considering it's Christmas I decided to do this. You could call this a squeal to A trip to the cinema so enjoy and please review.
On a cold day on Montressor the Benbow inn wasn't that busy and Sarah Hawkins started her invitations for a Christmas party. Jim Hawkins sat at the table with B.E.N and Morph playing cards. " Oh my,two days till the best day of the year" shouted B.E.N breaking the silence " never B.E.N I thought it was Easter" Jim said sarcastically "Come now Jim this is B.E.N's first Christmas with us and he must be very excited" Sarah explained while writing her invitations. " Who are you inviting this year mom?" asked Jim " Oh I thought I would invite Delbert and Amelia and a couple of our regular customers why ask Jim ?" said Sarah a bit flustered at why her son would want to know " Oh no reason" said Jim with a smile on his face. " Are you inviting Santa to our party ?" asked B.E.N " of course she isn't he is not--" Jim couldn't finish his sentence as Sarah put her hand over his mouth " I don't think he'll be able to come B.E.N,he has a very busy schedule before Christmas won't he Jim" Sarah tried to explain to the confused robot " Oh" B.E.N chuckled " I thought for a second there Jimmy, you would say that Santa isn't real" B.E.N sighed of relief " of course he's real B.E.N isn't he Jim" explained Sarah while nudging Jim in the arm for the right answer " yeah he's real" Jim said.
" OK I'll have to go down town to get some supplies or there will be no party" said Sarah " could you three stay here and run things for me until I get back please ?" asked Sarah, Jim opened his mouth to speak but B.E.N cut in saying " you can count on us MRS H". B.E.N did the cooking, Jim did the serving and Morph (surprisingly) did the washing up. " What a team we make huh Jimmy" B.E.N said a little too enthusiastically " yeah B.E.N I can't think of anyone else I could work with during the busiest part of the day" Jim replied * I can think of several * Jim thought to himself.
As Jim carried some food out to a customer Delbert Doppler walked through the door with an envelope in his hand and walked over to Jim "Heya Jim is your mother around ?" he asked politely, "no she's gone out and left me with the biggest pain In the neck around" Jim replied "Oh you mean B.E.N" Delbert said "yeah anyway what is your reason for coming here Doc woman troubles cause I can't help you with that I'm afraid that is mom's speciality mine is how to please women" Jim explained "no Jim I do not have any woman troubles at all,me and Amelia are just fine and we are looking forward to our first ever Christmas together. I just came to give you and your mother a Christmas card" Delbert said "oh OK mom left you and Amelia a Christmas card I'll just go and get it one sec." Jim answered and walked to find the card " there it is" Jim said and then gave it to Delbert " here you go and tomorrow mom is having a Christmas party so here is you invitation as well" Jim handed the invitation and the card to Delbert and as Delbert turned around to leave Jim said coolly " merry Christmas Delbert" Delbert turned back around and replied " and to you Jim and thank your mother for the invitation and tell her we will be coming" " OK I will bye" Jim said and turned around to go back to work for the rest of the boring day.
