I own nothing. Sorry, it's not a long one, it's just a short story. I like short ones To give us more enlightenment on what happened after the argument with Bill and Fluer
Remus walked out of St. Mungo's and to the park. It was summer now, the leaves were a bright green, and the sun was beating down on his scarred face. Tonks didn't understand, he did love her, they just couldn't be. He was too worried that he would make her a reject in her own world for being with him, a filthy werewolf. But to his suprise, Tonks was seated on an iron bench, crying crystal tears. He bit his lip and walked over to the unknowning Tonks and sat down. She looked at him from between her mouse hair strands, she relized he was sitting there. She turned away, angry and devistated all the same.
"Wot do you want?" She said, in between her tears.
"I'm sorry. You just don't..." He began.
"Don't wot? Understand? I understand clearly, you don't care do you?" She turned to face him, masscara running down her flushed cheeks.
"It's not like that, Tonks, I love you, I do. But-" She stopped him.
"But wot? I love you too, I just don't get it? Tell me the truth, Lupin. Do you really love me? Or do you love breaking me?" She finnally said, looking into his dark brooding eyes.
He broke their stare, "Tonks, do we really have to go through this?"
"Yes."
"I love you more than you can imagine. That's why we can't be." He said, looking down at the ground.
"But why?" She said, why could he just see that it wasn't for worse.
"I don't want to hurt you."
"Your hurting me now. can't y-you just accept that I don't care, I love you." She cracked under the pain. "I'm tired of listening about how you care about me and love me when you never want to show it! If you love me so much then why can't you just tell me?"
"I love you, I do." He said, reaching out for her hand. She hesitated, wondering now if he was just messing with her. He smiled, his teeth sparkling in the light. She took a deep breath and took his hand, unsure of what the point was.
"I love you with all my heart." He smiled, wrapping her in an embrace. He kissed her on the head, and grabbed her hand.
"Can we discuss this over dinner?" Tonks asked, smiling up at him.
"Of course." He gave in, holding her tightly while they walked out of the park.
