This is a poem from the Other Mother's point of view
Other Mother Song
I brought to this world,
Did everything I could,
Made you happy and laugh,
Like real mothers should.
I gave you lots of chicken,
And many other foods,
I gave you lots of toys,
That were waiting in your room.
I made an entire garden for you,
My dear, Coraline,
I created all these things for you,
Just to make you mine.
Oh, my twitchy witchy girl,
Why did you ever run away?
I was caring and loving and nice,
Just to make you stay,
If you stay with me,
I could be your mother,
We'd be a perfect family,
Happy. Forever.
Maybe you'll return to me,
So please don't cry,
All you have to do is,
Put on the button eyes.
