It was two weeks after Jacks 18th birthday.
He was dressed in all in black going to church so early in the morning.
He had Raimundos box of letter in the passenger seat and six pins in his boot, something borrowed, and something blue.
As he reached the church he put everything aside to grab some flowers from the back seat and when the church doors opened wide he put his black veil down, trying to hide is tear in his crimson eyes. Oh Jack couldn't believe it, and the when he heard the piano from the choir, the flowers fell out of his hands.
"Rai, why'd you leave me? Why'd you have to go fight? I was…counting on…forever…" Jack mumbled to himself as he tried so hard to hold back his sobs. Now I'll never know, Jack thought to himself as it suddenly became harder to breath. One of Raimundos brother saw the sad sight of the broken heart his bro left behind, he walked towards the opened church doors where Jack still stood, placing a hand on Jacks shoulder he whispered "he loved you more than anything…he wanted you safe" and with that Jack walked through the church isle to reach the open coffin.
He was half way there when the suddenly all became a scene like as if he was so far in the distance he was in the background and hearing everyone around morning, hearing a mother cry out "he's not coming home now…" this can't be happening to me, this is just a dream, Jack tried to convince himself.
The preacher man began to speak "let's bow our heads and pray Lord, please lift his soul and heal this hurt" the congregation all stood up and sang the saddest song Jack ever heard.
Realization sunk in as Kimiko tapped his shoulder handing Rai's white hoodie to him to take and he held on to all he had left of Rai but Jack thought of all that could've been. The clack of the coffin shutting rang out through the church and it felt like a bullet in his heart. His knees gave out and he fell to the floor, the church fell silent. The 3 dragons left ran to his aid but all that rang through the church was Jack pleas of the situation."Oh, this is just a dream…it's just a nightmare, yeah…" as all went black in Jacks vision he could hear Raimundo whispering "sorry…"
