Naruto stared down at the body of Nagato. He knew His Brother Disciple had always had peace in his heart. But, how could he have let him destroy the world? He knew that he had no choice, but he felt as though his heart was torn apart. Tears started flowing through his eyes as Konan took both bodies away. His eyes started blazing, and he yelled out to her. "Konan! Help me!"
She looked at him, and shock crossed her face. She now knew what Nagato had meant as he sent his last message to her through the eyes of the Rikudo Sage: I now know that I have lived my life against my teacher's beliefs. I have not brought peace, I have brought death. My last act shall be to throw a wrench into Madara's plan by bringing a new god into this world.
He had promised, promised that no matter what He would find peace and He would seize it. He promised to him as his last wish before death to find the peace that he so desperately yearned for. He left me with a farewell gift the Rinnegan. Him giving it to me was Nagato's was of saying Fuck You Madara. Naruto bets' that he's up there with Ero-Sannin laughing.
After Konan told him what had happened involving his eyes, Naruto headed back to Konoha. The entire village greeted him, hailing him a hero. It made him want to take a kunai to his heart. He had just killed a man who was almost himself. They both wanted peace. They both had different ways of getting it. They both knew vengeance.
When he got home, he looked in his mirror. His eyes seemed to be normal, except for a faded ring around the iris. As he watched, it seemed to get slightly darker. His guess was that it would eventually become all the rings that Nagato had had. He walked through the living room, and into the kitchen. He grabbed some ramen, and started to eat.
"What do you want?" He asked, to seemingly nobody. Kakashi stepped onto the windowsill, a surprised look in his visible eye. "How'd you know I was here?" he asked. Naruto decided to show Kakashi his eyes. To his surprise, he actually achieved it on the first try. He heard Kakashi's sharp intake of breath, then saw wonder in his eye.
"Well, this makes things… interesting…." He said. Naruto just stared at him. "I suppose that now, I can teach you my most powerful jutsus'." "Wait… you mean?" Naruto asked. "Yes, Naruto," Kakashi said, "It's time I teach you the Lightning Blade." "Is it just because that he has the Rinnegan that Now Kakashi-Sensei wants to teach him now?" Naruto wondered
