This is only my second story. Sorry that I have not posted anything in a long time. I couldn't figure out how to turn my documents from DocX to Story form. Anyway, this is the Prologue of The Darkest Hour, and it is supposed to be a newspaper article about Spyro, Cynder, and Ignitus disappearing. Takes place after Dawn of the Dragon. I do not own any of the Legend of Spyro Characters in any way, shape, or form... Sadly T_T

Our Darkest Hour
It has been two months since the disappearance of Spyro, Purple Dragon of Legend. Cynder, the former "Queen of Conquerors", and Ignitus, the Guardian of the Fire Element, who both accompanied Spyro on his quest to defeat The Dark Master, have also vanished. Many search parties have been sent out to find them, but so far, no one has been successful.
The leader of one such search party, a cheetah by the name of Hunter, says, "Everyone is looking as hard as they can, but there is still a chance that there is nothing left to find." A grim statement indeed.
Nevertheless, none of the inhabitants of Warfang or the rest of the world have given up hope completely. There is still a chance that all three of the missing dragons are alive and well somewhere.
A young dragonfly known as Sparx, Spyro's adopted brother and best friend, states, "I know that Spyro, Cynder, and Ignitus are still alive. Ignitus may be old, but he doesn't give up. And don't underestimate my brother. He's tough. So is Cynder. How do you think she managed to resist Malefor while she was on our side? That's why I told her that I was trusting her with looking after Spyro."
Wherever our lost heroes are, everyone is praying for their safe return, and that the light indeed shone through the shadows during that darkest hour...

I know it's really short, but I wrote it in like... fifteen minutes or less, so it's bound to be crap! Please Comment and Review. Also, if anyone has a problem with any of this story, say... if you don't think it has enough detail or something, just say so at the end of your comment. I always appreciate constructive criticism!
