Don't Let Go of Me

Prologue

A dark hair boy about the age of 5 walked into the first class of his young life. He was frightened and already homesick, he wanted to be anywhere but here. He stood in the doorway looking at the other kids that were going to be his classmates. Some were so scare on their first day that they were crying, some where having fits and so their parents had to comfort them, and then there were some who where just wild as they ran all over the place. As for this little boy he had no parents, but he was type you would call mature for his age. Even though he was scare inside he didn't complain, didn't have fits, and just stood there silently with his guardian to wait for the teacher. As he looked around the classroom with the little tables, the markers, the colorful posters on the walls, he noticed a little girl with big round glasses, socks up to her knees, and pigtails stood in a corner. She wasn't like the other kids, in a way she acted like him, just waiting patiently for the teacher. But he could tell, he doesn't know how he knew but he could tell that she was as afraid as himself. She however didn't even have a guardian with her on her first day of school. Boy seeing this came over and introduced himself.

"Hi. I'm Eriol, what's yours?" Eriol asked the little girl. Even though girls usually mature faster than boys when they are young Eriol was already a head taller than the girl.

"Hi, I'm Madison…" She spoke so softly that he could barely made out her name, but that was good enough. His guardian nudged him a little letting him know what he's suppose to do next. Eriol was taught that when introducing yourself always to shake hands with the person you are talking to. So he held out his hand so the Madison can shake it.

Madison took her shaking hand and touched his to a little hand shake. Right when they touched the weirdest feeling came to both at the same time. Right in front of them flash scenes of them together, holding hands, laughing, etc. But in a sec it was gone….

"Ok children we will begin class now," The teacher said as she walked to the front of the class. "I will start with roll."

"Come on Madison, let's go find a seat," Eriol said as he and her went to find a seat quickly forgetting the earlier incident in their young minds. Little did they know there was a whole future waiting for them, but first they must find their way to each other and not let go…or their future will be taken from them.
