Bolin and Korra have just been on a lovely first date :)

They walked hand in hand down the quiet street. She felt him rub his thumb along her hand and she leaned into his shoulder to get closer. He could the heat rising to his cheeks, regardless of how cold it was with the fresh snow fall. They both kept quiet, just wanted to cherish the night they spent together.

When they arrived at Korra's home, Bolin let go of her hand awkwardly. "Well, have a good night Korra!" He turned to leave but she caught his arm.

"Did you want to come upstairs and hang out some more?" She smiled brightly at him, making his heart ache, as she held on to him a little tighter.

"Yes." He nodded excitedly. "I do." He grabbed her hand and they ran inside to the warm room.

Korra took her boots off and her thick coat, while Bolin did the same.

She ran into the kitchen, they peeked out of the doorway. "Want some tea?" She asked politely.

Bolin nodded and made himself comfortable on her bed. She had a small house so her living room was also her bedroom but neither of them seemed to mind.

Korra brought some tea out and sat on the bed with him.

She snuggled her head to his shoulder. "I had a really good time tonight, Bolin." She sipped her tea and then said so quiet that he almost didn't hear her, "I hope it's the first of many."

Bolin wrapped his free arm around her shoulders. "I know it will be, because you make everything better." He smiled down at her and kissed her hair.

She looked up at him and then to his lips, contemplating. She leaned forward quickly and pressed her lips against his firmly. He stiffened first and then relaxed, placing his hand behind her head and kissing her back.

She smiled against his mouth, which caused him to giggle.

"Good first kiss." She started laughing and leaned back against his shoulder, feeling his shoulder shake from his own chuckling.

So this is way OOC, I think. But I don't really care. They are my favorite ship and I love fluff xD

I also love that it wasn't a fluid, passionate, amazing first kiss. It was full of laughter and I think that's adorable for them :)
