JUST A VERY SHORT ONE OFF
Revocations
As Jack walked through the cog door, he heard a noise and, looking down into the autopsy bay, smiled.
The young Welshman looked up into twinkling blue eyes that nailed him to the spot.
"Ianto?" I thought you left just after I did!" He looked at his watch. "That was over two hours ago!"
Ianto smiled. "I was going to, but…" he shrugged, looking around the bay. "Owen made such a mess doing his little," he used his hands. "'experiment' on that Blowfish, I thought it better to clean it up tonight, before it stank the Hub out."
Jack wrinkled his nose, making Ianto swallow hard.
"And we don't want that," the older man said.
"No, we certainly don't, sir," agreed the young Welshman.
"Jack."
"Jack," Ianto nodded his thanks at the use of his bosses first name.
Putting the cloth in the cupboard under the metal sink, Ianto made his way up the stairs into the main Hub and over to the small kitchen to the coffee machine.
"Are you gonna fire that thing up?" asked Jack.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am."
"You lifesaver." Jack breathed, half closing his eyes.
Jack approached Ianto, placing his hands on the younger man's hips and down to his outer thighs.
Ianto swallowed.
Jack's hands moved inward and up, to cover the younger man's groin.
"Please, don't do that, sir."
Ianto moved away.
"Sorry…I thought. I mean…that you and I…we both wanted this."
Jack moved a step back.
Ianto dropped his gaze as the immortal turned and walk away.
"I do!" Ianto blurted out.
Jack stopped, facing his young colleague.
"I do…want this. Want you. I just…I don't want to get hurt again. It's too soon."
Jack took one of Ianto's slightly smaller hands in both of his.
"I would never hurt you intentionally." He pulled the younger man into his arms, kissing his temple. "Trust me."
"I…do," Ianto breathed against Jack's face.
Pulling back, two pairs of blue eyes met and locked.
"Take me to bed, Jack."
Jack went to speak.
"Don't ask me if I'm sure." He smiled. "Right now, this is the only thing I am sure about. This is what I want. What we need."
Jack held out his hand and Ianto took it, as they made their way up to Jack's office and down to his quarters.
THE END
