"…Aelita," she whispered into my dark room. She shook me. "Wake up."

I rolled over. I could here my cell phone ringing from its place on my nightstand. "Yumi?" I groaned, as she flipped on the light. I sat up, squinting to see her.

"Come on," she said. "We have to go." I glanced over at the digital clock.

1:58. "Yumi? What are you doing?" She was already dressed.

"Come on, get up. We have to get to the factory."

"Why," I say, crawling out of bed. "What happened?"

"Something's happened to Jeremy," She said softly, opening the door.

"What?" I said a little panicked now, rubbing my eyes.

"Odd and Ulrich are already in Lyoko. We've got to catch up with them," she said, disregarding my question. "Three different towers are activated at once. I was talking to Jeremy, but then the line went dead."

"Oh," I said walking a little faster. I folded my arms. It was cold outside. "Do you think everyone's alright?"

"I'm, uh, not sure. But we'll find out," She said, taking the lid off the sewer that went to the old factory.

I felt my heart stop. Yumi screamed.

A giant creature reared its one of its heads out of the sewer. I stumbled backwards. Yumi looked around us, trying to find an escape. Suddenly, we were both dressed as if we were in Lyoko.

"Yumi!" I shouted. "What's happening?"

"I don't know, but weapons would come in handy right about now," she said, cutting off one of his heads with her fan. She flipped over him and stabbed the XANA sign on his back. We both watched as he disappeared into thin air.

I looked down. We still had our weapons. "Yumi…what was that?"

"I think…our world…and Lyoko are becoming one," She said

"Why?"

"Because Jeremy isn't there," she said, crawling down the latter that lead to the old factory. "Come on, we don't have much time."

We moved cautiously through the dark, listening closing to each of our footsteps.

"Here we are," she said, boarding the elevator. She helped me in.

"Do you think we're too late?" I whispered.

"We're about to find out," she said as the elevator doors opened. We were blinded by the light. "William!" Yumi shouted, swishing open her fans. "I should have known."

He froze, staring blankly at us.

I became very angry in a short amount of time. I saw William shoot up into the air, his body pounding against the ceiling with a thud. He hit the ground lifelessly.

"What did you do?" Yumi said in shock.

"I'm…not sure. But he's out cold."
