So my friend had the idea for the Elemental Alchemist- and this oneshot sort of spurted out. I don't own anything.

"Hey, Korra," Greed said, sauntering into her room.

She stood up as he came in. "Get lost."

He raised his arms. "Hey, I'm just saying hi to my supposed best friend, according to the little prince. Also, he told me to tell you he'll get out. But I doubt that."

She glared at him, crossing her arms. "Trust me, he will. But unfortunately, he hasn't yet. So, get lost before I kick your ass."

"Feisty," he said grinning. "I can see why he likes you."

She balled her fists. "Are you asking for a fight?"

He raised his arms in surrender. "Like I said, I'm saying that the prince is saying hi. He got me to check up on you earlier, when you were crying at the cliff."

The fire in her eyes died out, and she slumped down, leaning against the side of her bed. "Tell him- tell him I'll get him out of there as soon as I can."

Greed raised his eyebrows. "Wouldn't have thought you had a sweeter side. But then again, a girl as pretty as you can't be completely heartless."

Korra didn't even care he was hitting on her, again. "Do you know what it was like, seeing him going through that pain?" she began, eyes on the ground. "He's... he means more to me than anyone, and watching him being taken over by someone like you, that hurt. Emotionally and physically. I can't begin to describe what it felt like to know he was being taken over by someone like you. Especially when I figured out what an ass you are.

"And... It was terrifying. I can only imagine what it was like for him..." she said, now talking more to herself than Greed. "But don't worry," she said looking up at him and smirking. "Ling will find a way out."

He smirked back. "Doubt that. Besides, you can't deny you don't like this," he said, crouching down and leaning closer to her.

"Hell no. I want my friend back."

Greed grinned. "You sure?"
