Alright, here is the second story that I promised that I'd post today! Look, it's a new fandom for me! I've made it through series six of Doctor Who, and my heart is held together a tiny thread at the moment. Still recovering from series 2-4. Doctor/Rose made my OTP list (specifically Ten/Rose, but Nine/Rose is pretty cute, too), then Doomsday happened. Then Journey's End happened. I think I cried for at least half an hour. Okay, sobbed. Then I listened to 'Song for Ten', and 'Love Don't Roam' because I bought the soundtrack. I cried some more. So, this was written as a pick-me-up, and now it's posted here! By the way, do you guys realize how many songs can be related to the relationship between Doctor/Rose? But, that's enough ramblings!
Disclaimer: I own nothing that you recognize.
"Oh, it's been so long since I've seen you!" Jackie exclaimed as Rose and the Doctor entered the flat. She pulled Rose into a hug and, once she had released her, asked, "What have you been up to?" Rose shot the Doctor a look that clearly said 'you get to tell her'.
"Well," his hand flew up to scratch the back of his neck, "Rose and I accidentally got married on seventeen different planets!" He beamed at Jackie.
"You what?!" Jackie shrieked. The Doctor opened his mouth to repeat himself, but was cut off by a very strong slap across the face from one Jackie Tyler. "I can't believe you!" She raised her hand for another slap to the Doctor's face, but was cut off by her daughter.
"Mum! He was joking!" Rose grabbed her mum's hands before any more damage could be done and stood in between Jackie and the Doctor, the latter of which was gingerly holding his cheek.
The Doctor and Rose left the flat and a much calmer Jackie an hour or two later, with the same decision in both of their minds to wait a little while longer before telling her about the small wedding on planet Earth that was very much not an accident.
What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Leave a review, let me know! I apologize for the shortness and my freaking long ramblings. Sorry! But I've got another Doctor Who fic ready for posting tomorrow, and it's much longer than this one!
