Pokémon Blazing Beauty

It's been a year since dad moved to unova; my only companionship comes from Claire (my eevee), and Zu Zu (my Zorua) so It's been pretty lonely in hearthome city. I visit the contest hall everyday to watch all the contestants 'maybe mom will let me enter my first contest' I thought.

"Hey mom" I yelled

"yes honey" mom replied

"can I enter a contest" I asked

"sure" mom said. I was so exited!

A few weeks later it was finally here; I almost fainted when they said: "HELLO WELCOME TO HEARTHOME'S NORMAL CUTE CONTEST'" then the announcer continued saying the names of the competitors.

"FIRST IT'S LILY ANN WITH BIDOOF! NEXT IT'S ASH WITH PIKACHU ! THEN IT'S DAWN WITH PIPLUP! AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST WE HAVE KYRA WITH ZU ZU!"

In the waiting room i was really bothered by the competitors because they all acted so snobish with all there fancy clothes and wierd hairstyles. I'l just wait until I win then they will see who has an excuse to act snobish

"WELCOME TO THE DRESS UP! PIPLUP IS DRESSED THE BEST BUT KYRA'S ZU ZU IS DRESSED MORE TO THE THEME THEN DAWN"

'Yes I won the dress up, now i just have to win the other two' I thought. The one thing I was dreading is the move thing because I never fight my pokemon. Just the thought of pokemon attacking eatchother sickened me. I've never used my pokemon's moves before so I'm hoping I can put something together so well that it doesn't show.

"WELCOME TO THE DANCE PART! PIPLUP DANCED THE SECOND BEST BUT THE BEST WAS KYRA!"

'All I need to do now is place in at least second in the final event to win' I thought. I was starting to feel really nervous because all of the other competitors seemed really calm and determined to win. When we went out to start the third and final event it took all of my energy to stop me from shaking.

" WELCOME TO THE FINAL PART! KYRA OVERTHROWS EVERYBODY WITH CUTE MOVES"

"AND NOW FOR THE RESULTS!" The announcer boomed.

"IN 4TH IT'S ASH! IN THIRD IT'S LILY ANN! SECOND WE HAVE DAWN! AND THAT LEAVES ONE PERSON LEFT, KYRA!"

I couldn't believe it! I'd actually won a contest! after I was awarded a ribbon and was congratulated 5,000 times I made it outside and decided to go for a stroll outside the city.

When I got outside hearthome I was greeted by a blinding flash of light and a loud thud. The next thing I knew there was a purple thing in front of me.

"Are you a pokemon?" I asked

"A WHAT?" It asked

I quickly explained what a pokemon is even though I could now tell it wasn't one.

"Oh" it said then it answered my earlier question by saying "no".

"Then what are you?" I asked.

"I'm Blaze. Blaze the Cat".
