Kit sat down across the room from Jace and Alec. He glanced at Ty who was training across the room. His grey eyes focused, headphones over dark hair.

Alec nudged Jace, noticing the look. Jace plopped down next to Kit, "What's wrong?"

Kit glanced over at the parabatai. "Ty asked me to be his parabatai."

Jace grinned, "Is that all? That's..."

He broke off noticing Alec shaking his head at him.

"You don't want that," Alec stated quietly.

Kit's eyes darted up, "No, I...no. No, I don't."

Jace sighed, "So tell him no, I'm not seeing the big deal here."

"Jace." Alec chided. "Can you tell us why, Kit?"

Jace rolled his eyes, "You're such a dad, Alec. Listen, Kit, Ty appreciates honesty right?"

Kit nodded.

Jace shrugged, "So be honest."

Alec glared at him. "Kit, there's more isn't there?"

Kit bristled, "Can't say I know what you're talking about."

Alec rolled his eyes, "I grew up with Jace, you know."

"I'm not Jace!" Kit growled.

"Hey!" Jace protested. "Not everyone can pull of the Herondale charm."

Alec sent Jace a withering look. "My point was that like Jace, you have this look. Like you would tear the entire world apart for Tiberius Blackthorn. The look he only has for Clary."

Jace looked up startled slightly. Kit scuffed his shoe on the floor, his jaw set.

"So you..." Jace started.

"By the Angel, Jace, go away. You aren't be helpful." Alec said through clenched teeth.

Kit finally look back up, "So what do I do?"

Alec sighed. "I'm not completely sure I can help there, Kit. Magnus approached me. And I denied our relationship for a long time. Until I decided I didn't care what people thought and I kissed him in front of an entire room full of...Kit?"

But Kit was already striding across the room. Alec heard him mumble an apology before he grabbed Ty's shoulders and kissed him. Only when Ty relaxed his tense posture did Alec smile.

"Herondales," he shook his head.

*So again sorry if it's ooc. It's been a while since I wrote a fanfic. This idea has been on my mind for a while now and I'm just now getting it wrote down. The final scene got a bit away from me. I didn't know how to end it. And I got all caught up in Alec's speech and Kit was just gone lol. But when I ran it past my sister she said it works. Anyways, Review!
