''Quick, Andrea, over here I see the next question!'' A girl said to her friend. They were in a Maize Maze on a day out at Heatherton. They had to go around the maze answering questions on boards.
''Come on, over here, I think I see a board!'' Andrea said, towing the other one by the hand. The wizzed round a corner, narrowly missing hitting their heads on a wooden beam by a bridge. They came to a halt, panting.
''So, now where?'' The second girl asked the first.
''I have absolutly no idea'' Came the reply.
''Let me look at your phone again.'' Andrea handed over a picture of the maze, which was shaped like Catherine Jenkins. The second girls twisted it and tuned it, but still couldn't find where they were going. They took a left, then a right, another right and finnaly a left. Everything looked the same as before. They sighed.
''Any idea where we are Jamie?'' Andrea asked Jamie.
''The hair I think.''
''Thats no exactly helpful. Theres lots of hair!'' Andrea said, a little exaspareted. ''Lets head back to the bridge.'' They went back the way they came, until they reached the bridge.
''Lets look for my mum and nan.'' Jamie suggested. They climbed the stairs, and searched the maize.
''Hang on, was that a tail I just saw?'' Andrea puzzled, squinting to look closer.
''That must be one hell of a dog. Maybe an Irish wolfhound or somethin'' Andrea suggested.
''No, it's probably nothing.'' After a few more minutes of scanning the maize, they gave up.
''Lets go. They have probably all ready left.'' Andrea sighed. They walked slowly down the steps, and started walking. A rustle sounded up ahead. The girls stopped curiosly. They edged forward an inch. The ruseling got louder and louder. As they reached the spot wher the rusteling was at its loudest, they stopped. They peered into the Maize, trying to see what it was. A low grumble sounded from deep within the wall. They took a step back. Silence greeted them for a second. Then a creature, with giant claws and teeth launched itself out of the maize at the girls. A scream rose from the maze.
