"Oh," Minerva chortled, "Poor Severus!"

Filius smiled, chuckling also.

Gilderoy smiled his 'witch weekly most charming smile award' smile.

"Well, the fellow might be a potions master, but he is definitely not a dueller." Gilderoy boasted; telling of how in the second meeting of the duelling club he had successfully disarmed Severus, and blown him off the stage.

Pomona shook her head, smiling kindly.

In a just of wind, the door to the staff room blew open; and the topic of current conversation billowed in the door, slamming it with a wave of his hand in the face of the two Gryffindor students.

"Severus!" An indignant Minerva stood up.

"Look at me, Minerva. Now tell me they didn't deserve that." Severus had turned around from where he was storming to his seat by the hearth, and had his arms spread; an annoyed- yet strangly subdued Severus said.

"Ohhh, poor Severus." Pomona cooed.

Severus attempted a glare, but sighed and sat down instead.

"Trying to impersonate me, ay?" Gilderoy said, rocking onto the balls of his feet as he spoke.

The potions master jaw jutted forward, and he blinked once; trying to restrain himself.

"Get. Out." He muttered through clenched teeth.

Gilderoy remained where he was. "Personally, I'm flattered, but I don't really think dying your hair was the best way to go. I mean blond isn't really your col-"

He was cut off by Severus ramming him into the wall, one hand clamped around his throat.

"Shut up." Snape said, eyes blazing. He removed his hand, and the man fell to the ground. "Go." He said, adding a kick for good measure.

Gilderoy flew, pausing at the door only to say, "See you at dinner then?" With a crazed kind of smile.

Severus put a hand to his head and fell back onto the sofa behind him.

"Your tolerance is endless." He praised the Hufflepuff beside him, who honestly looked a little scared of him.

Filius blinked a few times, frowning. "Was that really nesicary, Severus?"

Severus sighed, then sat forward. He held a strand of his canary yellow hair, and with careful delibrance. "I can take being disarmed from behind, I can take being flown up into the air then flung across the room infront of studentss when my back is turned; but so help me- why did the man have to tell the twins a charm to change hair colour?" Severus gave a worried frown.

"And that's not even the worst." He covered his face with his hands. "It's a permenant charm!" He peeked through his fingers at Minerva. "A whole bloody month! I have to stay like this, for a month!"

He collapsed back against the sofa.

Minerva struggled to hold back giggles.

"Oh Severus." Filius jumped off his seat and walked over to where the man was staring a hole into the ceiling. He began muttering under his breath, and then tapped the mans (no longer greasy) blond hair.

It stayed blond.

"Poppy can't do anything, so if you can-" Severus started, but he stopped halfway to sit bolt upright.

"Severus?" Pomona asked, leaning forward to see what spiked his interest. (A/N Pomona reminds me of Luna...)

An owl flew into the window, and Filius stood up with a frown and went over to let it in.

It flew over to Severus where it dropped a pink letter tied up with a ribbon, then promptly flew into the window again on its way out.

"Oh God." He muttered, reading the letter.

"What?" Minerva asked.

"Oh God." He repeated, actually looking worried.

"What Severus?" Minerva demanded.

"Tomorrow is April Fools Day!" He announced, holding up the letter. "Lockheart wants a dueling club tomorrow... I'm gonna be pink! With green splotches! I'm... I'm as good as dead!" He sounded slightly hysterical.

"Oohohoho!" Minerva laughed, "Poor Severus!"
