On the first day Thalia received the bouquet of black roses on the doorstep of the Zeus cabin, she stomped on them and kicked them down the steps.

On the second day she got the flowers, she zapped them with lightning and let them sizzle outside her door.

On the third day she got them, she cut the flower petals off with safety scissors and laughed. She kept them though.

On the fourth day she found black roses outside her door, she cursed loud enough to wake the whole camp and threw them in the lake.

On the fifth day she got those damn black roses, she picked them up and sniffed them. Then she fried them and threw them in the Pegasus stable.

On the sixth day she found the bouquet, she looked around, just in case anyone was watching, and put them in an alcove inside the cabin. She replaced them with the third ones.

On the seventh day, she found a bouquet of black roses-in Nico di Angelo's hand. She took them, told him to meet her by the lake after curfew, showed him Aegis, and zapped him off her doorstep.

She always wondered how he'd known her favorite flower.
