The Flames

This poem, in my opinion, is the best I ever wrote for a girl. Ironically, though, the subject has never once read or dated me, so it's kind of a secret admirer thing. Have you any similar experiences? Post them in the comments below to tell them. :

Her smile has been envied by all

Perfect in every way, lasting from winter to fall

I stare into those radiant eyes of blue

Whispering softly, "Nothing compares to you".

We dance in the snow,

Like Kim and Edward, as old we grow

An angel reoccuring in my dreams

Flying high into the cold air, casting me into her redeems

Twirling around again and again in her pretty gown

Glowing, for she's the reason the Sun shines down

A voice that brings music to my ears

And joy to my tears

Ms. Liddell would be proud

If she were to hear the sound

When I knew her, Life was only fine

But when I truly saw her, she had to be mine

Beauty that can make a grown man cry

And happiness that can make a Quitter try

No one else can make it more right

I wish for this when I come home tonight

So let the flames of passion burn

We'll stand by and warm without concern

And she'll always be the One I think the world of

For you're never too young to fall in love...
