Okay,so. We all know how Emmett is, right? I thought so. And we all know that releasing him in a mall would be absolute insanity, right? Yeah, well, I do too. Except that I know that the most insane ideas make the greatest stories. So, here it is. Oh, btw- takes place AFTER Breaking Dawn.

Disclaimer: I. DO. NOT. OWN. TWILIGHT. Or any of the characters. If I did, do you think I would be here writing oneshots? NO. I would be writing more books!!

EmPOV-
writing in his journal
Ugh. Ever since we narrowly escaped death, life has been a total bore. Rose and I got our own house not too far from home.
We decided we were old enough to act like adults. pun intended
Well, technically, it was to keep up human appearances...and to satisfy Rose's... jealousy? Because normal humans don't live with their parents forever, well, some do, but I said NORMAL.
And because Rose didn't want people thinking she was one of those non-normal humans I just referred to.
'Cause Edward and Bella JUST got married not too long ago. And they already lived on their own. So, Rose doesn't want people thinking she can't handle it. We've been married longer.
I honestly don't care what people think. But, hey, we don't have to pay for the house, so who am I to complain?
But Rose HAS been awfully busy. And I haven't. And I'm bored.

NOT FOR LONG.
HAHA.
BRILLIANT!
end journal entry

"Emmett, where are you going?" Rose demanded when I opened the door.
"Nowhere. Just...out." CRAP. What was I going to tell her?
"Whatever." mumbles "What's WITH him lately"
Wow. That was easier than I thought it would be.
Now I just have to block my thoughts until I get past Edward and Bella's house. I climbed in my jeep and thought about rainbows and unicorns. I could faintly hear Edward telling Bella that I was crazy and thinking about unicorns.
But I didn't care, that meant it was working. Alice was out hunting, so I didn't have to worry about that.
This was going to work out perfectly.

I pulled into the Seattle Mall just as they were opening the doors.
The only problem with coming to the mall was that there wasn't that much in the stores that would fit me.
But that wasn't what I was there for today, I had enough clothes.
In fact, I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do exactly. But hey, it was a mall, there was plenty to do, right?
RIGHT.
I practically charged through the doors, ready to go.
Now, the question on my mind wasn't 'What am I going to do?', it was 'What am I going to do FIRST?'.

I know it's a short chapter. I can't write long ones, sorry.
Review please!!
