Dear Sir of the night
Dear Sir of the night I tell thee now that war doth come this way
Remember that war will kill and undo thou one of these days
But a Shield-maiden I shall be for thee till the ends of the war so I pray
That thou would take me to war with thee
Dear Sir whom I love I pray thee on this night that
Thou wouldst cometh back for me for the war tis over
So wouldst thou come back for me I await thee on this night
And I hope and pray that thou wouldst take me away
Dear Sir of the night whom I speak of pray thee on this night
Remember that pain and sorrow will dwell with thee all of thou life
But I shall be here and always stand at thou side which will bring thee hope.

Remember thou art Elvin and that I am human though I am young and strong now if thou
