A.N. Okay, it's another one-shot with Shiro and Rangiku, because inspiration suddenly hit me for this, when I really should be doing revision. Oh well. Hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach, closest I'll ever get is cos-playing Toushiro Hitsugaya.

A.N. End

Rangiku Matsumoto was not a happy fukutaichou. Rangiku was not a happy drunk fukutaichou either, all because of her mean taichou. She silently sent him venomous looks, hidden behind her paperwork so he was none the wiser.

Toushiro Hitsugaya, on the other hand, was a very happy taichou, as he was actually able to work with a relative about of silence. He could see Matsumoto sending him glares from behind her mountains of paperwork out of the corner of his eye, but he really couldn't care less.

One may think they've stumbled upon a parallel universe by accident, or that Squad 10 was participating in 'Opposites Day'. Neither of these hypotheses were true however, and there was a very simple explanation for this unusual air in Hitsugaya-taichou's office.

Toushiro had come in extra early, and had confiscated all of Rangiku's sake.

Rangiku pouted in annoyance, 'He has no right to touch and hide my beloved sake! How am I meant to get through the day without it!?' she thought sadly.

Toushiro looked up at the clock in the office, discovering that it was in fact about time he made himself some green tea. He slowly pushed his chair back, whilst picking up his cup.

"Matsumoto, I'm going to get some green tea, do some paperwork while I'm gone." He silently walked over towards the door, his cape billowing about in the breeze from the window. He stopped just before he left, turning to his fukutaichou, who was looking up at him in slight confusion at his pause. He simply added, "And don't snoop in the third draw down on the right, or you'll regret it." And with that, left for the kitchen next door.

Rangiku smirked, 'Silly taichou, you just gave away my beloved sake's hiding place!' Laughing quietly to herself, she tiptoed over to Toushiro's desk, being wary of the creaky floorboards, which she was certain her taichou had installed on purpose. She slowly looked over his tidy desk, which she quietly thought should be disorganized at some point, as it would do him good, but pushed the thought aside as she remembered her mission.

She counted down the draws on the right hand side of his desk, and smiled when she found the third one, unlocked no less!

Grinning like the Cheshire cat incarnate, she opened the dark draw, and slipped in her hand, only to whip her hand out, emitting a loud cry akin to a yelp.

In the kitchen next door, Toushiro silently smirked at his trick. He would have to thank Kurosaki next time he saw him for getting him those mousetraps.

A.N. Well, I think that turned out better than I thought it would. And don't worry, Rangiku did get her sake back, Toushiro had to when she told him she'd never forgive him for the trick if he didn't give it back. Reviews are very welcome; I like to hear your opinions :) Until next time!
