1Vampire High: Season 2: Prologue
I read a story once about Marty Strickland (Vampire High) and Dawn Summers (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and I fell in love with the couple. Now of course I added my own little twists just because I love the couple. Throughout the story you will see these twists but for now I just hope you enjoy. "It shall be done my lord." Murdoch promised into the mouthpiece. "If I may be so bold, my lord. Why is it the king wishes to over see the experiment himself?"
"Well you see Doc. I want the experiment to be a more realistic." Murdoch turned at the sound of the familiar voice. Marty. What was he doing here? The experiment didn't start for another 3 weeks.
"Oh Marty. I didn't expect to see you." Murdoch smiled at his old student. "What are you doing here so early?"
"I see the king has arrived. Tell him to keep us in contact of the experiment. Good day." Murdoch was about to respond when the line went dead.
"Marty? You're the King of the Undead!?" He said shocked. Marty, the rule-breaker, always causing trouble, never caring about the experiments success, he was King of the Undead.
"Eh, it's a iffy title. I'm more ruler of every thing supernatural. But basically yeah, I wanted to see if people could survive like me." He said fiddling with random objects in the room.
"To survive like you?" Murdoch asked skeptically.
"Yeah I've tried millions of ways to survive without human blood but unfortunately there's no other way. However since the discovery of blood banks, I don't half to drink straight from the source. Then I got to thinking if I can live this way why can't we all. So I came up with the experiment." Marty sat at Murdoch's desk and grinned at him. Murdoch looked baffled.
"But you've bragged about killing so many people, and you brought that girl here and what about that Vietnam soldier you killed."
"When I was created it was the only way to feed and I'm much more powerful therefore I require more blood. As for that girl I was never going to kill her. Just scare her a little bit, plus I wanted to see if any of the night students had learned anything. Oh and the Vietnam soldier he was my only kill after I started using blood banks." Murdoch could see Marty was getting bored. He had better wrap this up quickly.
"I just have one more thing that requires your attention my king. In regards to the experiment, I think it's time to take it to the next level."
"The next level." Marty said skeptically.
"Yes having someone with them while the learn, socialize, and, possibly, while they feed." Murdoch said cautiously.
"You want to send some human …" The king was on his feet and snarled at the half-vampire.
"Not some human. I already have someone in mind. She knows about the world of the supernatural, and she can defend herself against it quite efficiently." Murdoch explained quickly as he watched Marty take his seat.
"Sounds like your talking about the slayer." Marty was grinning again.
"Not quite actually her sister." His eyes nearly popped out of his head. Obviously Marty had not known this.
"The slayer has a sister?" He choked out.
"Yes she's also my granddaughter."
So what do you think? The story I read was called 'Key of Mansbridge' it was sadly discontinued. This story I will follow through to the end. Oh by the way this is post vampire high and somewhere in the middle of season 7 of Buffy the vampire slayer. Review please. I'll love you forever. And I'll give you a shiny penny.
