Why I'm In Love With You
Gwen sat on the dock of shame looking at the sea after the first day of TDA (Total Drama Action.) She looked at her dark reflection and wondered what Chris would have in store for them next. She took out her mp3 player and changed the song to Good Enough by Evanescence. Without realising it she started to sing.
Trent walked out of the cabin to see Gwen holding her knee and singing. He was taken back by the intensity of her voice to the soft song.
"Hey Gwen, how's the leg?"
"Okay I guess," Gwen looked down blushing.
"I heard you sing t- just now," Gwen got up and started to walk away, but Trent grabbed her, "I meant you were really good, maybe better than me."
"Um thanks why are you out here?"
"To see if you're okay, you know after what Heather did?"
"You mean you care that you're girlfriend pushed me off a cliff and I survived but broke my leg."
"Gwen, Heather isn't my girlfriend. I like someone else. She's the coolest, nicest, toughest, most beautiful I know."
"So who is she?"
"Okay I'll give you a series of six hints that will tell you? One she's different than any other girl I've dated."
"Izzy?"
"No, two she blushes really pretty?"
". . ."
"No response? We've been friends since the beginning."
"Okay?"
"Four she has a bad attitude sometimes, Five she's got super cool hair."
"Um . . . so who is it?"
"Final clue," Trent leaned in and kissed her on the lips.
"Uh it's me huh. So you like me."
"No I love you."
"Why?"
"You're nice, cool, fun to be with, beautiful."
"Thanks, I love you too," Trent held out his hand to the girl he loved and gave her a carried her back to camp.
