Breaking up Family
She was precious and innocent, that's was exactly why he wanted her.
They loved her. Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Angel, his Sire, even his brother in blood Spike, they all love this precious girl.
So he held her close, ignoring her attempts to break free.
If he couldn't have his family back he would take theirs.
He drained her oh so slowly and grinned as his blood flowed into her mouth.
Penn decided if he couldn't have his father he would have a Childe.
Dawn rose at dusk, they never knew what pain was until they first saw her kill.
Penn lead her into the hallway of her own building, to her own apartment. Of course now she would need an invite to go in, but that was OK Andrew was there.
He opened the door and immediately invited her and her Sire inside while telling her how everyone was looking for her and how worried Buffy, Spike and Angel were.
"Is that right? Well shucks!" Dawn giggled then quickly overtook her former friend and first meal. He didn't even have time to scream as she drained his life through his neck. As she dropped him she commented, "Hmm fruity."
After a quick shower and a change of clothes Dawn scribbled a note for her "family" and left with Penn to hunt.
Hours later when Buffy, Angel, and Spike returned to the apartment, worried that Andrew wasn't answering the phone, they found the note embedded in his forehead with a railroad spike.

Buffy crumbled to the ground crying.
Angel clenched his fists and growled "Penn turned her."
Spike realized how well she had actually listened to his stories and one thought overwhelmed him: I will save her somehow.
