Chapter 1 Me
Haunted by his memory I walked through the forest alone and that's when all this trouble started.
I'm sitting on the plane dreading every inch we get closer to Forks. I've lived with my grandma since I was eight so for ten years. Wow. I wouldn't think it was so long since I've seen Mom, Dad and Bella. Although I do miss them. A lot. I've always been so happy with my grand ma that I bearly noticed. Is that normal? Huh. Oh well.
I'm going to see them soon so I might as well think of my graceful grandma who is sleeping soundly beside me and how I'm leaving her all alone. Sigh. I hope she'll be okay.
Stop it Lizzy your only leaving for three months. She's a tough old bird she can take care of herself.
My subconscious kept wispering to me.
Although I don't believe it, it helps that my subconscious is so strong.
My grand ma has my dad's pale skin and Bella's big chocolate eyes. I get my hair colour (Blood red) from her. Although her hair is mostly silver now you can still see some red.
My grand ma is a kind caring woman. Despite her age if any one was ever being mean to me in school the next morning she would march down to the school doors and remind the culprit that she knew their parents.
She knew everyone's parents.
I love my grand ma but she's not the only one I'll miss. I had great friends in Sitka Alaska, like Claire, Lee, Jenny
and lastly Jake and Kevin
I never forget what happened when I told them I was leaving, for its forever imprinted into my heart…
"Okay guys sit down" I had said
"What's this about honey?" Lee said.
"Yeah is everything okay?" Claire said with worried eyes.
"Well no. Not really " I told her.
"Well what is it honey" Kevin said with his arm around a nodding Jake.
"Yeah no matter what it is we'll all be there for you, you know that right?" Jenny said patting my hand she was sitting beside me.
"Of course I know that sweetheart" I smiled at her, she smiled back.
"Well here goes. Nan says I have to spend summer in Forks with my dad and Bella and I have to visit my mum."
They all looked horrified so I quickly reassured them "You guys can visit you know."
"Of course we will we love you and we always will" Lee said
I smiled at him
"When do you leave honey?"
"Next week" I replied
i miss them already. sigh.
Oh well this can get any worse i might aswell make the best of it.
I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep with my grandma right by my side.
