(just as a note, they are all in their time skip (part two) outfits just cuz I like em better:P)
Today, the young Hyuuga girl was walking down the roads of Konoha more timidly than ever before. This was the day that the deeply blushing Hinata would finally confess her love. It was something she couldn't believe even herself, and decided to keep it a secret. Especially form her older brother, Neji. If he found out that she was crushing on a boy, said boy would most likely be pulverized in a moment.
She finally caught sight of the Ichiraku Ramen Shop. She knew he was there. She approached it very slowly, and when she arrived, reached nervously to tap him on the shoulder. The blonde turned around with a full mouth of ramen and smiled.
"Hey Hinata-Chan! Something up?"
"U-um… no… n-nothing…" she managed. She was twiddling her fingers.
"Oh. Okay. Well then, want some ramen? My treat!"
"Um… n-no… not really a-actually… You s-see N-Naruto-Kun, I h-have had a r-really important th-thing to tell y-you ever since I've known y-you…"
"Huh? What is it Hinata-Chan?" the boy asked rudely. By this time, she was blushing so hard, her entire head turned bright red and a bit of steam began to blow out of her ears.
"Um… I… I… I… I… I… I… um… I…"
"Uh, Hinata-Chan?" She stopped for a moment.
"Y-yes?" she gasped.
"If it's possible, do you think you could say what you're gonna say little faster? I have a training session with Sasuke in about half an hour and I need to get ready."
"Well… I… um… a-actually… N-Naruto-Kun… I… um… I…"
"You what?" She was now shaking like a leaf.
"I…"
"Hinata-Chan?"
"I've liked you ever since I've known you!" she finally squeezed out. Naruto was totally silent. He stared at her like she had grown another head. Hinata looked down and almost began to cry.
"M-me? Why would you like me?" Hinata looked back up.
"Y-you're… strong… and smart… a-and… and cute… and very funny…"
"Really?"
"Um… y-yes."
"Wow! I always thought you didn't like me, but you're pretty and nice. I like you a lot too!" Hinata practically fainted in a blush just hearing the words.
"Oh Naruto-Kun!" she hugged him. He smiled and hugged her back.
"So… does this mean we're… dating now?"
"Um… I… I don't know…"
"I guess so then!" he tightened the hug.
"Thank you Naruto-Kun…"
"Why?"
"You just made me happy." she said cutely. Naruto grinned widely.
"C'mon. I'll walk you home."
"Um… o-okay." With that, the Uzumaki and the Hyuuga walked on to the Hyuuga manor, hand locked in hand.
