Authors Notes: A short vignette that came to me as mother started watching the Italian Job.

"Can I say it, please" said Dr Delilah Stirling to Major Evan Lorne as they picked themselves up from the ground and dusted themselves down
"What?" Major Lorne replied. Delilah leant over and whispered in his ear, he only just stopped himself laughing in time "only if you can run for the gate very, very fast"
"I can if you can" she replied with a smirk.
They had been on a small moon orbiting a forest planet when their jumper had broken down and they had called for assistance. Rodney, Radek and John had arrived an hour later and they had just managed to make their jumper explode. Rodney Radek and John were looking at the smoking remains of the jumper,
"Can I say it now, please?" begged Delilah
"Ok but if you get caught by either of them, you're on your own" Evan replied.
"You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off," said Delilah as she and Evan turned tail and ran full tilt for the gate singing 'We're the self preservation society' closely followed by Rodney and Radek leaving John doubled over, helpless with laughter.
