AN: I hope ya'll enjoy this, just a little something that stuck in my mind while listening to the radio, I have recently edited the story so that the couple are actually named at the end, I am sorry for the confusion.

She's Like the Wind

A young man sat and waited for the performance to begin, this was a very special performance, as it was soon to change the lives of the man and the beautiful dancer that had just taken the stage.

She's like the wind through my tree
She rides the night next to me
She leads me through moonlight
Only to burn me with the sun
She's taken my heart
But she doesn't know what she's done

He sat there watching her as she floated across the stage like a fairy. He was memorized by her enchanting beauty; she was simply breath-taking in her lavender leotard with a whimsical skirt in lavender & azure that just seemed to flow ever so smoothly as she danced.


Feel her breath on my face
Her body close to me
Can't look in her eyes
She's out of my league
Just a fool to believe
I have anything she needs
She's like the wind

As he watched her, he couldn't help but wonder if she would ever give a guy like him a chance. They were so very different but yet, so very much alike. He knew down in the depths of his heart that she was the one, the only one for him


I look in the mirror and all I see
Is a young old man with only a dream
Am I just fooling myself
That she'll stop the pain
Living without her
I'd go insane

As this young girl finished the last few moments of her dance, the young boy decided that tonight was the night, he would finally let his one love know his feelings, and maybe, just maybe, she might just feel the same way about him


Feel her breath on my face
Her body close to me
Can't look in her eyes

Just a fool to believe
I have anything she needs

As Casey left the stage, she saw Derek waiting for her just off stage. She walked over to him and was immediatly taken into his arms and kissed ever so softly. She was soon overtaken with a wonderful feeling, and she knew that nothing was going to be the same again…
