"It's beautiful," Ginny whispered in awe, her face full of wonder as she gazed up at the Eiffel Tower, "Tell me again how you managed to get the train tickets."

Luna smiled, her face calm. "My boss," she stated simply, "He said I was doing a phenomenal job in handling the recent influx of customers while he was away, so as a thank you gift he gave me two tickets. He said I could take a few days off and if I wanted to, I could bring along one person on my mini-vacation. And I thought, since we never actually went on our honeymoon, why not here?"

Ginny's eyes lit up with gratitude. "That's sweet, Luna. I'm glad I married you; you're so selfless and giving. I love you so much."

"Do you?"

Ginny stared at her, baffled. "Didn't I just tell you?"

Luna kept her luminous eyes fixed on the landmark in front of her. "I've been having qualms about our relationship."

"'Qualms'?" Ginny repeated, alarmed, "Luna, what's wrong?" She suddenly looked scared. "You're not having second thoughts about our marriage, are you?"

"Kind of," Luna admitted, "I mean, we only met ten months ago. We dated for seven and then decided to get married; but what if it was all an enormous mistake? What if this doesn't work out?"

Ginny turned her face so that light from the setting sun illuminated her face.

"This will work out, Luna," said Ginny fiercely, "We're in love with each other, we have stable jobs, and our families support us. Just give me a reason that will make me think otherwise."

This was one of the traits Luna admired most in Ginny; she was loyal to a cause or a person until the end. Her conviction was contagious; Ginny's words had Luna's doubts melting away like snow.

"You're right," Luna agreed, sweeping back Ginny's ginger hair and kissing her chastely on the lips. Ginny relaxed visibly at Luna's touch, her body warming from the heat radiating from Luna's slender body.

They watched as the sun sunk lower and lower below the horizon before it vanished from view completely. The Eiffel Tower was sparkling and glowing with colorful lights and Ginny looked on, spellbound. Luna was occasionally watching the show, her eyes darting between her gorgeous wife and the dazzling light show in front of her.

For a moment (and the rest of her life) she couldn't recall why she'd been so uncertain about her relationship with Ginny. Ginny was perfect in every way possible, and as Luna stood here with her lovely wife in the City of Love, she thought her life couldn't get any better.
