Depressing poetry for Bering and Wells. I wrote it after episode 4x21 and it's HG's POV.
It's not crazy
It's an addiction that can never be cured
It's a hunger that can never be sated
It's wanting her arms around you instead of your lovers
It's needing the feel of strong, muscled arms that betray feminine softness to chase away the cold of bronze
It's being deprived of her touch that was taken for granted but is now never enough
It's wanting to scream at your lover for his lips aren't hers
It's begging to the heavens for a kiss from her
It's being in a desert, her lips the oasis that's merely a mirage
It's luxuriating in the soft feel of her hair opposed to your lover's stubble
It's replaying the memory of her curls and the feel of them brushing your skin
It's the itch in your palms to run your fingers through her tresses
It's any sound other than her voice bouncing hollowly in your skull
It's replaying your words from her lips ad nauseam
It's an itch in your brain that can only be fulfilled by her timbre and pitch
It's having the ability to call her your own
It's always wanting more
It's never getting enough
But it's insane!
For you're crazy for a girl that was never yours
Addicted to a feeling that has never been felt
Hungry for an emotion that has been torn from your soul centuries ago
It's insane that you're lusting over a girl who died three years ago when you told her walk away
Like? Non? Reviews sil vous plait?
