For Benjamin Gates, his life has finally calmed down.
Slow motion shot of Ben, Riley, and Abigail sitting on the porch, the perfect picture of relaxation.
But little does he know, that the treasure of the world is not done with him.
Quick shot of each of their faces. Ben looks concerned, Abigail afraid, and Riley confused. Fades to black.
Abigail: (voiceover) Ben, where are we?
Riley: (voiceover) I think the better question is when are we.
Image of a car wreck. Fades to black. Sound of a heart monitor is heard.
Ben Gates had been sent back in time, in order to discover treasures that have otherwise been lost.
With each beat of the heart monitor, a new scene is shown: Titanic, Wild West, Ancient Egypt, Aztec Pyramid, The Queen Anne's Revenge, and Troy.
Ben: We have to hurry! Quick shot of Ben running down a long corridor, pulling Abigail along, Riley struggling to keep up.
Shot of Abigail dressed in barely anything, being shackled to the top of a pyramid.
Shot of Riley being locked up in an iron cell.
He may be able to save the treasure…
Shots of several different treasures, including a cave full of gold, and a large stone room with a golden sarcophagus.
Ben with a large smile.
Fades to black
(voice over) But can he twist time and save the many people in history that shouldn't have died?
Shot of horses stirring up dust as they ride down a long gravel path, an iceberg cutting into the side of a ship, and a man dressed in armor standing on a city wall, watching an army approach.
Abigail: (dressed in old fashioned clothes) You can't save everyone Ben. Whatever happened, has to happen.
Riley: She's right Ben.
Ben: (looking between them) I can try.
Not to mention his friends.
Fades to black. A woman's scream is heard, as well as Riley's voice shouting for Ben.
Shot of Ben looking right to left, seemingly trying to make a decision.
Sound of a heart monitor is heard again. With each beep, a new picture is flashed.
Shot of wide open ocean.
Camera span over a large jungle.
An army stomping over the ground, heading for the city in the distance.
Abigail and Riley been dragged away.
Ben standing at the bow of an old ship.
An angry pirate holding a gun aimed at someone unseen.
Ben holding a torch, slowly coming through the darkness of a long corridor.
Ben: I'm so sorry….(sounds as if he's about to cry)
Sound of heart monitor slowing down. After a moment, it flat lines.
