"Rin, it's time to depart." The thirteen-year-old, dutifully gathered the skirts of her kimono and daintily made her way upon Ah-Un. Sesshoumaru glanced at her before taking to the skies, Jaken clinging to dragonling's reigns.
Rin sighed softly, watching as her lord floated gently through the darkening skies; his waterfall of platinum locks, his lithe, graceful form blowing in the wind. She twirled a piece of her own chocolate hair in her fingers, grimacing at its uniformity, its humanness. Sesshoumaru could never love her.
He was a far away dream, like the moon that adorned his forehead. Beautiful and enchanting, but untouchable to anyone.
