Terry rolled over in his bed and looked at the picture on his bedside table. It was of him and his girlfriend; he had left her in the big city when he decided to live a country life.
He sighed, they were still together, but he hated long distance relation ships, what he hated more was his empty house. He had to pay Tom Nook money to get it bigger. His house had four rooms if you count the attic/bedroom; he had a kitchen and a dining room, a living room and a room that had a snowman theme in it.
Terry was small for a sixteen year old; he had spiky blonde hair and always wore his lucky shoes. He got out of bed and looked out the window, it was impossible to tell it was October, the sun was blazing outside and their were no clouds at all.
He decided to dress in shorts and a yellow t-shirt with a paw design on it.
He took one last look at the picture of his girlfriend and then walked down stairs to his kitchen. He looked in the fridge and growled. He had no milk. He then looked into his cupboard. He grabbed a box of frosties and began pouring it into a bowl. He almost yelled with anger when no frosties came out he looked into the box and saw that he needed more.
He looked at his watch, it was nine o'clock, and Tom's shop should be open. He grabbed some bells from his wallet and ran from his house.
When he got to Nook's shop, Nook way, it read that it was closed for renovation.
Terry stood their staring at the letter open mouthed; he couldn't believe his luck, today of all days.
He moaned, he needed a breakfast, and then it hit him. Rosie, the cat, she was always awake at this hour and she always had a spare bowl of frosties or lucky charms.
He had dashed from one side of the town to the other passing by a startled Goose as he went.
He knocked on Rosie's door as hard as he could, he heard her get out of her chair and walk towards the door.
He saw her big black eyes as she opened the door, "What's wrong" She asked.
Once i had told her the story so far we sat down together at her ranch table, we had a nice cup of coffee and a good breakfast, no one in the town could cook better than Rosie and who could ask for a better friend, she was always willing to lend a hand.
"So whats up, anything new happening?" Asked Terry after putting his dishes and cup in her dish washer.
"Well, I was at the clothes shop yesterday, just having a look around the place with Lily, that was when Lily told me that" Rosie paused to take in a deep breathe, " Tom told Tortimer who was overheard by Phylis who told Pelly who told Teddy who told Wart Jr who told Mathilda who told Sprocket who told Gladis who told Sable who told Mable who told Lily who told me that someone new is coming to town, a human."
Terry sat wide eyed, he had known Rosie for being a bit of a gossip, and he also knew she could talk fast at times, but that, it had just blown his mind.
Rosie clicked in his ear a bit before he came back to earth.
"Whose new?" He asked the secound he had gotten over the baffling paragraph.
"A girl, she's from the same city you're from, and her name is Sarah!"
Terry gawped as he heard the name, "Not Sarah Rivers is it?"
"Yes!" Said Rosie pouring more coffee into Terry's mug, "Why? You knew?"
"No, i know her... she's my girlfriend" Smiled Terry half-heartedly.
