You lie there, just sucking in air, until your phone goes off in your pocket.
"Got him. You OK?"
"Yeah." You start to ask how they did it; break down coughing.
"Dean? Be there soon."
You mean to get up, get out of these sweaty clothes, shower. Instead, you fall asleep on the hardwood floor; wake to Sam kneading your biceps, testing your face.
"I'm up," you husk reflexively, eyes gummed shut.
"Right," Sam murmurs, wry smile audible. Louder he says, "Fever's broken. I think he's just tired."
"Tuckered out," Bobby corrects.
You make a note to kick his ass.
